AUSTIN, TX — Babble Soft, LLC has released its first software application, Baby Manager 1.0, which helps new parents keep track of events such as bottle feeding and diaper changes, allowing them to more confidently care for their newborn baby or twins. The application runs on the latest Microsoft and Microsoft Pocket PC operating systems, and allows users to synchronize data between a PC and a PDA using an Active Sync connection.
No more wondering “How much did our baby eat today?” or “How many diapers are we going through?!” Baby Manager 1.0 is a software solution that helps new parents keep track of breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding times and amounts, as well as diaper changes. The application summarizes the data in easy to read daily and weekly reports.
In an increasingly high-tech world, where busy parents and caregivers like to know what is happening with their newborns, Baby Manager provides a welcome replacement to the pieces of paper that parents currently use to record information. The software is simple to use, and reports can be printed out to show pediatricians.
Babble Soft’s president, Aruni Gunasegaram explains, “What’s unique about Baby Manager is not only its ability to help parents easily keep up with the basic information required by most pediatricians in the first months of a baby’s life, but also the fact that you can use it on your PDA and always have the information on hand.”
Aruni’s husband and Babble Soft’s Chief Technology Officer, Erin Defosse, agrees, “The reason I was excited about developing this system is because I knew it would give me an easy way to get involved during the first few months of our baby’s life. I knew it would allow me to become more actively involved in taking care of our son by using technology tools that I was comfortable with… it would kept me interested in things like how many times my son had breastfed that day or when I could give him his next bottle. As a bonus, I knew my wife would be thrilled with my involvement!”
