CTIA /Pocket PC Summit – Las Vegas, Nevada
By Barry J. Doyle
Recently I had the opportunity to visit what is called the “World’s Largest Mobile Data Event” which ran from Oct. 21-24th at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. Although general photography and video of the show was restricted for attendees, the facilitators made the mistake of allowing me to be granted a Media / Press pass! Being a Senior Editor and representative for BargainPDA.com, I decided to behave myself and try my best to make a good impression. This site is obviously still up (even after I visited the FCC booth), so I guess my good behavior paid off. Please enjoy the following photos I caught and some descriptions of the points of interest I found at the event.

the PocketPC Magazine booth. What a nice guy!

With a case like this, you don’t worry about dropping your
cell phone in the pool ever again!
Here is “yours truly”, with a famous cat.
A few girls from the Upoc Text Messaging company were trying to follow me around.
I guess BargainPDA editors are considered quite the catch these days!
