Belkin is now offering a portable keyboard for Toshiba’s e330, e335, and e740 Pocket PC handhelds. Toshiba is strongly supporting this move, as all new shipments of these models will come pre-installed with the needed drivers for Belkin’s G700 Series Portable Keyboard. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support the Toshiba e310 or e550g.
It offers a near full-size QWERTY-style keyboard layout with 17mm key spacing both horizontally and vertically and 2mm of key travel. The G700 weighs 7 ounces, and its interlocking design makes it convenient to fold up and store away. When closed, it is 3.7 by 5.8 by .6 inches; open it’s 6.9 by 9.8 by 2.8 inches.
In addition, users can charge their Toshiba handheld as they type by plugging the handheld’s AC adapter into the keyboard’s integrated power port.
Currently shipping in North America, the Belkin G700 Portable Keyboard sells for $80.
