The Handango InHand client will be shipped under the “BenQ Shop” brand and will feature content optimized for the P30 and P50.
The BenQ Shop, powered by Handango InHand, enables P30 and P50 customers to access a wealth of games, business applications, ringtones, themes and other downloads. Customers are given a superior download experience with one-click access to the download catalog, extensive content selection, trial applications, simple purchasing options, download protection, online download recovery and many other features.
The P30, a Symbian OS UIQ phone, and the P50, a Windows Mobile-based device, are two of the most widely anticipated smart phones on the market. Early models have been acclaimed by press and customers, drawing favorable comparisons to current smart phone best sellers.

The P30 is also a feature packed yet compact and stylish smart phone. The P30 is a tri-band phone based on the UIQ user interface and Symbian OS. It includes full PIM functions, Picel viewer for Microsoft Office and PDF documents, and a Smart writer on the 2.66 inch, 18-bit TFT LCD. The P30 delivers complete connectivity via Bluetooth, IrDA, USB, SD/MMC card and the ability to synchronize with Outlook e-mail, agenda, contact and to-do information. Photobase comes bundled giving P30 users full picture editing and sharing capabilities. The added MP3 player, unlimited video recording and full screen video make the P30 an entertainment powerhouse. The P30 is in a package that is 11.8 x 5.2 x 1.7 cm and weighs 150 grams.
The P50 has been hailed for its feature-packed design. It is a quad-band GSM phone with integrated WI-FI and Bluetooth running Windows Mobile-based software. In addition, it comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a brilliant 2.8 inch, 18-bit TFT screen with up to 262,144 colors and touch screen display. The integrated 1.3 megapixel camera is a first for WAN phones. The device is powered by a 416 MHz Intel PXA270 processor, with 64 MB of RAM and 64 MB of ROM, plus an SD card slot for additional memory. If that’s not enough, it supports MMS, WAP 2.0 and J2ME MIDP 2.0 with talk and standby times of five and 200 hours, respectively. All of this is available in a sleek package that is 12 x 6 x 2 cm and weighs 150 grams.
