The first Monday after Thanksgiving has been dubbed “Cyber Monday”, and retailers have a new tradition of offering significant sales to online shoppers on this day.
AT&T, the second-largest carrier in the U.S., is selling the HTC Aria for one cent. Like all of the special deals on smartphones today, this requires signing up for a two-year wireless service contract.
The T-Mobile G2 is available directly from T-Mobile for free with contract, Cyber Monday only.
Sprint is offering a buy-one get-one (BOGO) deal on the new BlackBerry Style. This deal is only for new customers only, though.
The online retailer Wirefly is having a Droid sale, and new Verizon customers can get the Motorola Droid X, Droid Pro, and Droid 2 as well as the Droid Incredible for free with a new contract. Those who are renewing their two-year Verizon contract can get the Droid Pro, Droid 2, and Droid Incredible for free, and the Droid X for $50.
Wirefly is also offering special bargains for Cyber Monday on a variety of other smartphones. For example, it has the HTC EVO 4G for under $100 for new Sprint customers.
All of these deals are available online only.
