It appears that BlackBerry’s upcoming flagship handset may be released as the BlackBerry Z30, as opposed to the A10, which earlier reports indicated. New images of the device were released on Wednesday, bolstering several earlier rumors about the upcoming device, while also providing new evidence that the device will indeed be part of the company’s Z series.
The photos, which were released ETrade Supply, confirmed earlier reports that handset will offer a 5-inch display and 2,800 mAh battery. The site also issued a photo revealing the handset’s mid-plate, which is depicted with a “BlackBerry Z00” stamp, indicating that the upcoming device will be released as part of the Z series.
The BlackBerry Z30 will reportedly offer a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 16GB of internal storage with microSD compatibility, LTE connectivity, and a 2,800 mAh battery. The handset will reportedly run on BlackBerry’s 10.2 operating system and will house a 8MP rear-facing camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera.
