BlackBerry has been in trouble for a while now, and while some analysts have pegged BlackBerry 10 and its subsequent handsets as hits, others have them flunking out altogether. But statistics don’t lie, and according to France’s second-largest wireless provider, SFR, the BlackBerry Q10 is the bestselling smartphone on its network.
According to SFR the BlackBerry Q10, equipped with a full-QWERTY keyboard, is outselling the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Lumia 520 and iPhone 5. Additionally, SFR also noted the touchscreen BlackBerry Z10, the first of the BlackBerry 10 devices to launch, is outselling the iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy SIII on its network.
While Z10 sales in the U.S. have been weak thus far, the Q10 is set to launch in the U.S. in the coming weeks, so high sales figures from Europe might point to good things ahead for BlackBerry in the U.S. market.
