BlackBerry Q10 Heading to Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile
On Tuesday BlackBerry announced that its QWERTY BlackBerry 10 handset, the Q10 is about to see some carrier love this summer. Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile have all confirmed plans to offer the BlackBerry Q10.
T-Mobile and Verizon both noted that the handset can be expected in June (with Verizon offering an exclusive on the white version); while Sprint cryptically announced that the handset can be expected sometime “late summer”. Additionally, T-Mobile announced that the device will be available for $100 down with 24 monthly payments of $20, or users can purchase the device outright for $580.
About the Hardware
The BlackBerry Q10 offers a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a physical QWERTY keyboard. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, with 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory with microSD compatibility up to 32 GB. The BlackBerry Q10 also houses a 2,100 mAh lithium-ion battery and a 8MP rear-facing camera.
