BlackBerry’s affordable QWERTY variant is arriving a little sooner than expected, as the BlackBerry Q5 will go on sale tomorrow, June 20 in the UAE. The handset is first set to appear in the BlackBerry Concept Retail Store in Dubai, which is also holding its grand opening tomorrow.
The device’s specs are toned down from BlackBerry’s Q10 model to offer consumers a more affordable physical keyboard option. The handset will offer a 3.1-inch display with a 720 x 720 resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-processor and it will run on BlackBerry 10 OS. The handset Q5 will also house a 5MP rear shooter, a 2,100 mAh battery, and 8GB of internal storage.
