Brando Offers New Cases, iPAQ Battery, Wi-Fi SDIO Card

Brando Workshop has a number of new handheld cases and accessories available.

The Sony CLIE TH55 Clip Case is made of leather and, as its name suggests, uses a clip to hold the handheld in. It’s available for $32.

TH55 Case It comes in two styles: side opening or flip top with a removable belt clip. A cutout on the back of the case allows the camera to take pictures while the device is in the case.

The same case is also available for the Clie TJ27/TJ37, also for $32.

Low-Power Wi-Fi Card

Finally, the C-guys SDIO Ultra low-power Wi-Fi Card is now available for $105.00. The card is Wi-Fi certified for the 802.11b standard and consumes only 2 mAh of power in standby mode. The card is compatible with most Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 devices, as well as devices with an SD expansion card slot.

Wireless ActiveSync and 40/64/128-bit WEP security are supported, and its manufacturer says this peripheral has an average transmission distance of 400 meters outside and 100 meters inside.

Other Accessories

Brando Workshop is also offering the HardCE rechargeable replacement battery for the iPAQ h2210/h2215 Pocket PC for $32.

This online store has recently begun carrying an aluminum hardcase for Toshiba e400/e405. The interior of this case is lined with neoprene to protect the Pocket PC from shocks. This case includes cutouts to allow access to the jog wheel, power button, etc. It is available now for $27.50.
