LandWare is now offering the GoType! Pro Keyboard for the iPAQ 3800, 3900, 5000 series. It requires no batteries and the integrated USB port can be used to sync the handheld while it is connected to the keyboard.

McDonald’s is going to test offering an hour of free Wi-Fi service with the purchase of a combo meal in New York, Chicago, and an as-yet-unnamed California city, according to the Associated Press.

Cerience has released RepliGo 1.1, the latest version of its app for converting hundreds of desktop document types into replicas for viewing and printing on Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds. This adds new features to the Palm OS version. It’s now ARM-native for quicker document viewing on OS 5 devices, has 320-by-320 and 320-by-480 screen support, can view documents in landscape mode on 320-by-480 screens, and offers wireless printing via Bluetooth. It sells for $40.
