The Netac UCF Card is a multi-function CompactFlash card with a built-in mini USB port, which can be used on a computer as a USB removable drive and as a standard CompactFlash card on digital devices, such as handhelds, cameras, MP3 players, etc.

Fossil has announced that its Palm Powered WRIST PDA was named “Best of COMDEX” in the mobile devices category. To win, it had to beat the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5400 and the Nokia 3650 mobile phone, which were also nominated. The WRIST PDA runs Palm OS 4.1, has a 160 by 160 pixel monochrome screen, and this device will run Palm OS 4.1 on a 33MHz Motorola Dragonball VZ processor. It has 2 MB of RAM. It will be available during the first half of next year.

Mapopolis has announced that it will begin offering mapping and navigation software early next year that will actively search for accidents, slow downs, and construction on the user?s route and re-route them if necessary to avoid it. It will cost $20 a month.

Quest of the Hero II a role-playing game for the Palm OS is now available. Key features of the game include a new game engine, improved color graphics, and a new map to explore. It is $20 requires Palm OS 3.5 or higher, 16k color display, and at least 1.3 MB of free memory.
