Xigma Releases New Leather Cases For Sony UX50 and UX40

Xigma has released two new leather cases for Sony’s UX series. The “pouch” model features a cowhide exterior and a lamb suede interior, as well as two credit card pockets. It’s available in black, red, and beige. The leather “flip” case features a magnetic snap closure, and is available only in black.

New Pocket PC Driver for Stowaway Keyboards

Think Outside has released a new Pocket PC driver for its Stowaway line of folding keyboards. The new driver supports both Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003.

A Dangerous Update

Danger will soon update the operating system on all the hiptop wireless handhelds, including the Sidekick from T-Mobile. This will bring several new features, including the ability to buy and download applications and ringtones directly on the device. In addition, users will also soon be able to cut and paste text. There will also be some improvements to the built-in version of AOL Instant Messenger.

Users of the hiptop and Sidekick can expect their devices to wirelessly receive the update in the next few weeks.

Corsoft Aileron 5.0 Now Available

Corsoft has just released Aileron 5.0, a wireless email application for Palm OS devices. Enhancements include a more user-friendly interface, support for sending/receiving Adobe PDF files and other attachments, and the ability to check multiple email accounts, including AOL, MSN, Hotmail, and Yahoo. Push notification is also included for those who use Handspring Treo devices, with future support planned for Wifi enabled handhelds. Integration with the handheld addressbook allows users to respond to email messages either by email or phone call. Fax sending/receiving is also included, as well as AES encryption and the ability to access corporate email on Microsoft Exchange servers.
