AccuWeather.com has launched a graphical weather service for Palm OS and Pocket PC users. The SharpMotionART service provides animated weather content in a small file size. It has info on 160 major cities in the U.S. and is free.

Aerodrome Software has a public beta of AeroPlayer, an audio player for the Palm Tungsten T. Currently, it has built-in Ogg/Vorbis support with MP3 and WAVE plug-ins coming soon. The company is working to add Sony NX Series support. Thanks to Beta-X for the tip.

Vaja Cases now has a leather flip case for the Palm Tungsten T. It includes a business card slot and two SD/MMC card slots. It is available in a wide variety of colors and sells for $75. Also, a version of the E&B Slipper Case for the Tungsten T has been announced but is currently backordered. This leather flipcase, unlike the one from Vaja, allows the handheld to HotSync in the case. It sells for $35.

Conduits Technologies has released Pocket Artist 2.5 for Pocket PC, which provides 24-bit color graphics editing and has been optimized for small screens while retaining a full set of features, including expanded support for digital camera users. Pocket Artist supports opening graphics in a variety of formats (PSD, JPG, GIF, and BMP), and work can be saved into PSD, JPG, or BMP formats. It is available for an introductory price of $50. Existing customers of version 2.0 are eligible for a free upgrade, while owners of earlier version can upgrade for $20.
