On Thursday, September 25, Intel will be teaming up with leading hotspot location owners to provide a day of free Wi-Fi access. These hotspots will be located in bookstores, cafes, hotels, airports, and restaurants across the country. There will also be One Unwired Day Festivals in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and special events in Seattle.

Protect Your Passwords With TealSafe

TealSafe TealPoint Software has released TealSafe, a Palm OS application designed to protect personal information such as credit card numbers, calling cards, computer passwords, software registration codes, and bank accounts. Features include 128-bit encryption, multi-level passwords, custom icons and layouts, categories, private entries, and memopad CSV export.

Pocket DBAdmin Released For Pocket PC

Razab-Sekh Information Company has released Pocket DBAdmin for Pocket PC devices. Five different versions of the application are currently available: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, SAPDB, MS Access, and Oracle, with more under development. The application allows handheld users to create and store SQL queries, insert and edit data, and browse table records. Features include AES encryption and data compression. New Zire 71 Accessories Available at

StylusCentral has announced two new accessories for the Zire 71 handheld. The Piel Frama leather case holds the device and features business card slots in the cover, as well as a snap closure. Recently, two companies have released several new Pocket PC games which cover a variety of game types and prices.
