The game also features full analog control, sound effects, vibration effects, and full-screen play on the 320-by-480-pixel Tapwave Zodiac screen.

Amazing World Released for Palm, Pocket PC, Nokia Series 60

Binoteq has released a unique new puzzle game for Palm OS 5 devices, Pocket PC 2002 and 2003 handhelds, and Nokia Series 60 smart phones. The game features more than 70 puzzles to solve using a collection of over 20 gadgets.

Varying difficulties make the game suitable for both children and adults.

Space Trader 1.1 for Pocket PC Debuts

Jon Welch has released Space Trader 1.1 for Pocket PC, based on the original Palm OS game by Pieter Spronck.

This freeware game casts the player in the role of an interstellar trader attempting to make profits by selling goods on various planets. Gameplay elements include the ability to customize and upgrade one’s spaceship, fight enemies, buy and sell various goods, and travel the galaxy.

The game runs on ARM, MIPS, and SH3 processors.

Warfare Incorporated Update Released

Handmark has released Warfare Incorporated 1.1 for Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds.

Warfare Incorporated The update includes native ARM support for Palm OS 5 devices and greatly increases the speed and performance of the application. Landscape support for hi res+ 320-by-480-pixel devices in all four possible orientations is also included.

Both Pocket PC and Palm OS version gain the ability to play additional levels created with the Warfare Incorporated level editor, which is free for all registered users.

Warfare Incorporated 1.1 is a free download for currently registered owners of the game, and is available at the Handmark web site. It costs $29.99 for new users.

Pocket PC Users Can Battle Evil Ducklets

Ducklets is a new action game for the Pocket PC, in which players must do battle against genetically-engineered ducks.
