Cingular Offers Push Email System from Good Technology

Cingular Wireless is now directly offering GoodLink to its business customers. Cingular is the first wireless service provider in North America to offer this wireless messaging and data access software and service.

GoodLink is a standards-based wireless messaging and corporate data access system that provides mobile field forces with a two-way wirelessly synchronized connection to Microsoft Exchange Server for email, contacts, calendar, notes, and tasks.

This software runs on both the Palm OS and Pocket PC models offered by Cingular, like the Siemens SX66 and the palmOne Treo 650.

GoodLink from Cingular is available through Cingular?s direct B2B sales organization.

This carrier is offering GoodLink as an end-to-end service for a monthly fee of $44.99 per month for unlimited data with a qualified voice plan. Customers must purchase a $1,500 one-year Starter Pak and a one-time $99 per user GoodLink Client Access license.

With the Starter Pak, GoodLink customers get one full year of IT support directly from Good Technology, as well as enterprise-grade support from Cingular’s business customer care group for the length of the contract.
