Comdex has a dozen or so shows all across the world where technology companies demo their products. The Vegas show has added importance though, as manufacturers use it to announce new products for the Holiday season.
Monday has the potential to be a busy day in tech and an exciting day in the PDA field. HP should confirm the new iPAQ’s. Both the h5450 and h1910 are expected to be available for pre-order a some point on Monday.
HP will not be alone, Dell will officially launch their new Amix X5’s. They’ve been teasing them on the Web site and they will likely be available for purchase on Monday. It’s possible ViewSonic will make an announcement, but I’m hearing there are serious supply issues with the V35, so don’t hold your breath.
PalmSource is set to announce a new licensee of their operating system.
I also have a bunch of details on a new Palm OS 4.1 device that is very portable. Alas I cannot release them until 9:30 am EST on Monday. Sorry…
