DataViz Documents To Go 3.0 for Android OS Offers Desktop Syncing, Support for Google Docs

DataViz Documents To Go 3.0 for Android OS has just been released, bringing a number of new features to this suite of Office apps, including an app for synchronizing documents with a PC as well as support for the Google Docs online service.

This is a widely-used app that allows users to view, edit and create native Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly on their mobile device.

New Desktop Sync
Docs To Go 3.0 is the first version to include a desktop application that lets Windows users synchronize files from their computer to their Android-based device over a USB cable. This function works with individual files or entire folders.

DataViz Documents To Go 3.0 for Android OSAny changes made to files in either the location will be automatically synchronized, and all file formatting will be maintained via DataViz’s InTact Technology.

Other Changes
The latest version of Docs To Go can interact directly with Google Docs, enabling users to download, view, and edit their files from this free online service. Any changes made can be saved and synchronized back to Google Docs.

DataViz has added support for files in Microsoft Office 2010 format.

In addition, the company has redesigned  this app, and improved the file browser, Adobe PDF viewer, and PowerPoint app.

DataViz Documents To Go 3.0 is available now in the on-device Android Market. It costs $14.99.

There is also a free version that allows users to view but not edit files.
