Michael Dell has left open the possibility that his company might release an Android-based phone outside of China next year. This has raised the hopes of those who would like to see this company enter the U.S. smartphone market.
It has a 3.5-inch, 360-by-640 touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and a memory card slot.
Coming to America
When the CEO of Dell was asked recently if his company will release a phone outside of China, his answer was somewhat equivocal: “Maybe next year.”
There have been unconfirmed reports that AT&T will release a “Dellphone” in 2010. It’s not clear if this will be a version of the mini 3i or a new model.
