A Dell refresh of their PDA models has been announced by the Bluetooth SIG. They posted approval for the Dell Axim X51 and X51v on their website. HP meanwhile is rumored to be close to releasing the iPAQ rx1950. The race to be first to release a PDA on Windows Mobile 5.0 is on.

Todo Pocket PC is running with a rumor about the new series of low-end PDAs from HP. There is no picture, but the specs are as follows:

  • Samsung 300MHz CPU
  • 32 MB RAM, 64MB ROM
  • 3.5″ 240×320 pixel display
  • Secure Digital slot
  • WiFi (802.11b), Infrared
  • 1100 mAh battery
  • 4.41 ounces
  • 2.99″ x 1.89″ x 1.73

If these specs are right, HP better have a very low price tag on this unit. They haven’t made an inspiring PDA for a very long time.
