The Droid brand will be getting a big push forward at Verizon Wireless in the form of three upcoming phones, including the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini, according to a tip from reputable Twitter user @evleaks.
The report, which included a leaked press image of the Ultra (right) to accompany two other leaked images of the Ultra and Maxx earlier today (below, left to right), suggested that the devices will perhaps be revealed at Motorola’s upcoming event scheduled for July 10 and 11 at Google’s Mountain View headquarters.
The Ultra, according to the report, will be Motorola’s flagship and will sport a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, a 10-megapixel camera (with an extra sensor for better white balance and exposure), and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. The Maxx, meanwhile, is expected to have a bigger battery at the expense of a slightly thicker frame, much like the RAZR Maxx and RAZR Maxx HD. And while there have been no reports about the Mini specifically, odds are good that it will simply be a smaller, lower-specced, and more affordable version of the Ultra, like the Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini and the upcoming HTC One Mini.
