E-TEN has taken the wraps off the Glofiish M700, a Pocket PC phone that will have a sliding QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
By default, this device will be used in a landscape orientation, as that’s the way its keyboard is arranged. However, its touchscreen can be rotated into portrait mode, useful for when this model is being used as a phone.

The M700 will be a GSM phone, with GPRS and the 2.5G cellular-wireless standard EDGE. In addition, it will offer 802.11b/g.
Like all Pocket PCs, it will include a suite of applications for working with Microsoft Office files. This device will also support Microsoft’s push email system.
Despite today’s announcement, details on the Glofiish M700 are still somewhat sketchy. Its processor, size, and storage capacity have not yet been revealed, and this device does not appear on the E-TEN web site.
Still, its maker says this Pocket PC phone will be available before the end of this month.
