There are Windows Mobile devices with VGA screens and there are smartphones with sliding keyboards, but no one has combined these two… until now.
E-TEN Information Systems is reportedly close to releasing the Glofiish M800. This will be similar to other smartphones like the AT&T 8525 or HTC Mogul, but will offer something these don’t: a 640 by 480 pixel display.
In addition, it will include several other high-end features, including 3G cellular-wireless networking (UMTS and HSDPA) and a SiRFstar III GPS receiver.
It will supposedly run Windows Mobile 6 Professional on a 500 MHz processor and have 256 MB of internal storage.
The Glofiish M800 has not yet been officially announced, so details on it are somewhat sketchy. More information will surely become available as this smartphone gets closer to its release, which pocketinfo.nl says will happen next month.
