European PDA Shipments Rise 27.5%

IDC has released a report that shows excellent PDA sales in Western Europe. 2003 saw roughly 2.6 million units sold, a 27.5% increase over the prior year. So who leads the pack? Windows Mobile with a 55.6% market share wins the OS battle and palmOne with a 32.3% market share takes the cake for PDA manufacturers. The fourth quarter told a different story though, as HP owned the top spot.
