Zi Corporation has announced that its eZiText technology is now integrated into Nokia’s Series 60.
Smartphones running Series 60 have a numberpad, rather than a keyboard. This can make entering text for SMS messages or email difficult. eZiText is a predictive text method that displays entire words without requiring every letter to be entered.
eZiText functions within all Series 60 applications that require predictive text entry, including messaging (SMS and MMS), Web browsing, calendar, phone book, notes, and more.
eZiText is available in and supports over 41 unique language databases. With the pre-integration of eZiText, licensees of the Series 60 Platform now have the option to use eZiText’s core capabilities in all supported languages. However, Series 60 licensees will need to license eZiText directly from Zi.
