Sony Ericsson will now be able to go forward with it’s release of the P800 smartphone in the U.S. As first reported by Smartphonecentral.com today, the FCC has posted pictures and user manuals to its site at this location FCC approval documents.

Documents on the agencies website indicate that the P800 has been granted approval for sale in the United States.  As part of this approval process, the FCC has posted pictures and early versions of the user manual in addition to other documents about the new P800 smartphone.

Even though the device is now approved for sale in the U.S., we can’t tell when the device will actually be released.  Unfortunately, the U.S. release date will still be a question mark until more is heard from the company.  View specs here: P800 specs
