Sprint may not carry any Windows Phone 8 devices yet, but the carrier has made it clear that it intends to by this summer. And a recent FCC filing for an HTC Windows Phone 8 device with LTE indicates that Sprint may be one step closer to doing so.
A filing for an HTC device with the model number PO88100 passed through the FCC today, sporting two types of bands that are used by Sprint, including CDMA and LTE Band 25. The documents don’t indicate much else about the handset, other than it will also sport NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and WiFi a/b/g/n.
This phone does, however, share a similar model number with a previously-leaked Sprint WP8 device codenamed Tiara, which is expected to be modestly-specced (i.e. 4.3-inch display, 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, etc.). This could possibly suggest that this more recently-spotted handset may also feature mid-range specs.
