Motorola is reportedly going to launch next year an upgraded version of the Motorola Q Windows Mobile Smartphone.
This new device will be called the Motorola Q Pro, according to buywindowsmobile.com.
Exactly how this model will differ from the current one is not yet known, as the only place Motorola has talked about it was at last week’s Gartner Symposium ITxpo. It has not yet been officially announced.
The Q Pro will reportedly include some hardware improvements, but details on what these will be are not available.
New Management Software
Apparently, when talking about this smartphone, Motorola was emphasizing a new software package created for it.
The MOTOPRO Mobility Suite will have a back-end part installed on a server that will allow remote device management, application management, and disabling of the built-in camera.
On the Q Pro itself, this suite will include a firewall, email encryption, VPN connectivity and authentication, as well as intrusion detection.
Motorola is reportedly going to introduce this new smartphone during the first three months of next year.
