ftoshi has released an updated version of ftxBrowser, a free web browser for Pocket PC. The new version runs on Windows Mobile 2003 handhelds.

Features in this application include having different pages open at the same time in multiple windows. It also has a “Full Screen” mode and it can save an image to the Pocket PC. It supports most of the features of Pocket IE, including different font sizes, fit to window, and more.

However, this is still in beta. For example, it does not yet offer a stop button. The developer is working to add features now and just recently added support for editing favorites.

ftxBrowser for Windows Mobile 2003 can be downloaded from ftoshi’s web site.
