Nokia is joining forces with Good Technology to extend GoodLink to Nokia’s business-oriented handhelds and smartphones.

GoodLink is a suite of software and a service that provides users with a two-way wirelessly synchronized connection to Microsoft Exchange Server. Users can access enterprise email, contacts, calendar, notes, and tasks. They can also get information from other applications, including CRM, ERP, and SCM.

Over three thousand enterprises have selected GoodLink as their wireless messaging standard.

“By adding Good Technology’s software and service to our offerings, we are providing one of the most powerful and robust wireless messaging and data access system available for enterprise customers,” said Niklas Savander, senior vice president, mobile devices at Nokia Enterprise Solutions.

Nokia already offers several different wireless application solutions to its customers varying from personal and business email applications to enterprise-grade business collaboration solutions. GoodLink will be added to this list.

The two companies did not estimate when the Nokia version of GoodLink will be available.
