Some details on the fifth-generation Google Nexus smartphone have supposedly leaked out. This device will apparently join the ranks of large phones, and include an unusually good camera.
In addition to being the fifth handset in this product line, the Nexus 5 is also going to have a 5-inch display, according to unconfirmed information given to Phone Arena. This will have a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution.
The device will reportedly run Google Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie) on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It will have 2 GB of RAM, and either 8 GB or 16 GB of internal storage.
Google insiders have spoken recently about wanting to improve the cameras in the Nexus line, and the next model might have a camera made by Nikon.
A 3140 mAh battery rounds out the leaked feature list of this smartphone, which will allegedly be produced by LG.
The Google Nexus 4 is expected to be announced in May at Google I/O, the company’s developer conference. Some time before then, additional information on it will certainly leak out, revealing details like what carriers will be offering it.
