In a recent interview, high-level executives from Google told the Times of London that, in the future, their company is going to focus much of its efforts on services for smartphones and wireless handhelds.
In fact, Google believes that the mobile space will be its biggest growth market in the coming years.
The company is basing its mobile operations in London, and they will be headed up by Nikesh Arora, who previously worked for T-Mobile.
Among other projects, Google will be making its search service more usable for smartphones and wireless handhelds. It is is also developing new search-related services for mobile devices.
