HP’s iPAQ 110 Classic Handheld can now be purchased from a variety of stores. With this device, HP is going against the convention wisdom and betting that there’s still demand for traditional handhelds.
This iPAQ runs Windows Mobile 6 Classic, which is essentially the same as Windows Mobile 6 Professional but without the phone features that aren’t necessary for this device. It includes 64 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM.

This model has a slim shape that’s just 0.54 inches thick, as well as 4.6 inches tall and 2.7 inches wide. It weighs 3.7 ounces.
Despite its slender build, the 110 pack a 624 MHz processor, Wi-Fi b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0.
It also has a 3.5-inch, QVGA touchscreen, an SD memory card slot with support for SDIO and SDHC, and a 1200 mAh battery.
What’s in a Name?
This model goes by several different names depending on where it is being sold. The iPAQ 110 is being offered through HP’s business channels, while the iPAQ 111 is being sold to consumers through retail stores. Aside from the name there’s no differences between these two.
There are also versions like the iPAQ 114 which is being offered in Germany. Naturally, these have been localized for the appropriate language, but there are no hardware changes.
