HP iPAQ Launch Event Coverage with Video

by Reads (11,123)

HP this evening had a large press event and party to celebrate the release of five new iPAQs along with a slew of other devices. It was also a chance for HP simply to toot its own horn and show it just really knows style and how to throw a party.

I had the opportunity to attend this HP event and get my hands on some of the new iPAQ devices. To see all the information on these new model visit the official announcement posted on Brighthand. This article is all about pictures and video. I’ll step aside and let the multimedia do the talking.

The iPAQ 210 was big, but it didn’t feel as heavy as I expected and was easy enough to grip.

Other Sights from the Show

Outside of the gadgets, HP had a slew of other side attractions to make the show a success. There were cars, motorcycles, superstars, supermodels, hundreds of financial analysts, hundreds of press members, an open bar, free food — well, you get the point. HP has money to spend and it is doing it.

And the highlight of the show for me (outside of the gadgets)? I brushed shoulders with Shaun White, aka "The Flying Tomato", 2006 U.S. Olympic champion and all around cool kid. Below is a picture I snapped just after he walked by me to get in an interview with MTV.
