RadioShack is continuing to lead-on eager HTC Evo 3D anticipators with a new, unconfirmed advertisement that finally sets a solid release date for the multidimensional smartphone. After weeks of taking “pre-pre-orders,” this retailer is now apparently taking pre-orders for the device, which will supposedly launch June 24.
The EVO 3D, as its name infers, will be one of the first smartphones to feature a 3D screen. This unique attribute, combined with the latest technology throughout the rest of the phone, will make this Sprint’s flagship device once it launches.
A sales flyer from Radio Shack indicates that the pre-order period will last until June 21, at which point it will be wait for launch day or bust. RadioShack did not include a price for the EVO 3D on the ad.
More Details on the HTC Evo 3D
3D will be the most notable aspect of the new EVO, but it’s no slouch in other departments. The EVO 3D will feature Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), Google’s latest smartphone iteration of the OS. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor, feature 1 GB of RAM, and be able to hold 4 GB of internal memory or up to 32 GB with its microSD card slot.
The EVO 3D will sport three cameras in all: dual five-megapixel rear-facing cameras to capture 3D photos and videos, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video conferencing. The EVO 3D will also be compatible with Sprint’s 4G network,

A Busy Day for HTC
