HTC EVO 4G Is Sold Out

HTC EVO 4G Is Available Again

Demand for the new HTC EVO 4G is so high that HTC can’t keep up — Sprint’s web site is sold out, and very few units remain in the carrier’s stores. Customers are eager to get this Android OS smartphone with a 4.3-inch display, WiMAX, and more.

HTC EVO 4GSprint’s website has a note saying “Sorry, this device is so hot we can’t keep it on our virtual shelves. Check back later – more are on their way!”

Many customers have been reporting that Sprint’s retail stores are sold out as well. Some of these locations are holding their few remaining units for those who are switching from other carriers.

The carrier is not taking pre-orders at this time, and there is no word on when the next shipment will arrive.

The HTC EVO 4G is the first smartphone available in the U.S. with WiMAX. This very high-end model also a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a slim tablet shape, and 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
