UPDATE (July 1): Sprint has run though its latest shipment of units and the evo 4G is out of stock again.
The HTC EVO 4G has been so popular that Sprint has had problems keeping it in stock. This high-end Android OS smartphone with WiMAX has been unavailable for a week or so, but it is once again ready to be purchased.
The model’s feature set makes it one of the most advanced phones available today. It boasts a very large, high-resolution touchscreen, fast processor, and 4G cellular-wireless networking, and will soon offer video chatting.
For several days, those who wanted to order the evo 4G have been told by Sprint “Sorry, this device is so hot we can’t keep it on our virtual shelves.” The carrier clearly has received a new shipment, because its online store is once again taking orders for the device,
The last time this smartphone was in stock on Sprint’s website, it sold out in a day or so — those who are interested in this product should move quickly.
