AT&T’s newest Windows Phone is the HTC HD7S, a high-end model with a big display, 16GB of storage, and a 5-megapixel camera. It joins a number of other models running Microsoft’s operating system in this carrier’s lineup.
This device has a tablet shape, with a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) capacitive, multi-touch display. All of the smartphones running this new operating system have an advanced feature set, but this HTC device has a larger screen than any of its rivals. And AT&T’s version has a Super LCD, rather than the standard LCD in the original HD7 that’s been offered by T-Mobile since last year.
The HD7S debuted running the latest version of Windows Phone 7 which now includes the ability to copy and paste text. It is based on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has 16GB of built-in storage for holding music, video, and other files.
The design for this model includes a kickstand on its back to make it easier to watch video, and it comes pre-loaded with an AT&T U-verse Mobile application. This will allow subscribers of this service to download and watch TV shows on their Windows Phone.
