Although it has yet to be officially announced, the HTC Incredible is easily one of the most anticipated smartphones of the season. Based on a complete list of specifications that just leaked from Verizon Wireless, it’s going to be a high-end model.
But the spec sheet also brings to light new details. Among the most notable could be the confirmation of its name, the HTC Incredible by Verizon, which isn’t just an internal code-name.
It has been known for some time that the smartphone will have a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but an earlier report had indicated that this would be slowed down, possibly to increase battery life. The latest leaked product sheet doesn’t mention downclocking.
The Incredible will include 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot for holding additional files.
The upcoming HTC model is going to sport an 8 megapixel camera with flash and a 3.5 mm headset jack
Overall, the Incredible is going to be 4.6 x 2.3 x 0.5 inches, and weigh 4.6 ounces.
According to an internal document from Best Buy, which is apparently going to carry it in stores, the HTC Incredible is going to launch April 29.
So far, the price for the smartphone is unknown.
