Those who are eager to see HTC’s first model running Windows Phone 8 in action can watch a video showing this upcoming device, which will be widely available in the U.S. next month.
The video from HTC isn’t the first time the 8X has appeared — it was officially unveiled in mid-September. Still, it highlights some of the differntiators, such as Beats Audio and a camera designed to work well in low-light conditions.

The HTC 8X is going to run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. This is going to have a large effect on when this model is available — the official launch of this version of Microsft’s mobile OS won’t be until near the end of this month. HTC’s first smartphone based on it will be intoduced in November.
The touchscreen on ths handset will be a 4.3-inch, 1280 x 720 Super LCD 2 display (341 ppi). It will also be equipped with an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera.
As far as memory is concerned, the 8X will have 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage. This will be non-expandable. Other features are going to include 4G LTE, a built-in audio amplifier, and NFC capability.
HTC’s new flagship Windows Phone is going to be released by AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. These carriers are also going to introduce its sister model, the HTC 8S.
