Cingular Wireless has been offering the 2125 for quite some time, but now this Windows Mobile Smartphone is showing up as “Out of Stock” on this carrier’s web site.
The reason this device is no longer available is it’s supposedly about to be replaced by the Cingular 3125, a version of the HTC Star Trek.

The report on Mobile Gadget News goes on to say that this super-slim clamshell smartphone might debut as soon as September 12.
The source of this information does not know what Cingular intends to charge for the 3125.
However, it should be kept in mind that this article is quoting an unnamed source in its report, and none of his information has been confirmed.
More About the HTC Star Trek
The shape and size of the HTC Star Trek immediately invites comparison to Motorola’s wildly popular RAZR phone. When closed, this smartphone is just 0.6 inches thick.
On the outside of the clamshell is a small external display and buttons for controlling the Windows Media Player. On the inside is a QVGA screen, a D-pad, and numberpad.
The Star Trek runs Windows Mobile 5 on a 195 MHz processor. It has 64 MB of RAM, 64 MB of ROM, and a microSD card slot.
This quad-band GSM phone offers EDGE and Bluetooth 1.2 but not Wi-Fi.
