iambic Launches Two New, Entry-Level Productivity Enchancement Solutions for Palm OS Devices

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — iambic, Inc., a leading provider of productivity enhancement software for handheld computers (PDAs and smartphones) today announced the release of two new entry-level programs for users of Palm OS devices that are simple to use and quite powerful.

Easy Address is a contact list manager that simplifies the process of associating pictures and icons to contacts, and includes image-cropping capabilities. Easy Notes is a memo list manager that features voice recording capabilities and “Draw & Sketch” functionality for taking quick notes on the go.

These programs were acquired from Binary Garden in February 2005, and modified by iambic to improve functionality and provide support for d-pad enabled devices such as Palm One?s Treo. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“Though our flagship product, the Agendus series of award-winning productivity enhancement solutions, has been a hit with power users of handheld devices, it ended up being a bit overwhelming for new users of Treo or Tungsten devices,” said Vidal Graupera, president and founder of iambic, Inc. “The acquisition of Binary Garden?s Easy Address and Easy Notes allows us to fill the entry-level side of our portfolio, so that we can now provide users with a great stepping-stone to ease the transition to Agendus.”

Just like its sibling, the Agendus series of products, both Easy Address and Easy Notes are designed to work “out-of-the box” by leveraging data from the native address, calendar, and to do list that come with the Palm operating system.

Easy Address

Easy Address provides everything users need to get their contacts organized. It also includes a photo feature that lets users edit their pictures before adding them to their contacts. It has a clean and fully customizable interface with a fast and powerful way to search for contacts. Easy Address requires a color Palm OS device running OS 3.5 or later and 350kb of free memory. It costs $14.95 and is available for download at www.iambic.com

Easy Notes

Easy Notes provides an easy way to manage text notes, pen/drawing notes and voice notes in a single application. It is also fully customizable and offers flexibility how these notes are used. Easy Notes requires a color Palm OS device running OS 3.5 or later and 250kb of free memory. It costs $14.95 and is available for download at www.iambic.com
