Samsung’s recently-released Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone has been a hot seller, so the company is looking to capitalize on its success with variants of the device, including the already-announced Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy S4 Zoom. But unlike the S4 Active and the S4 Mini, the S4 Zoom has yet to be officially unveiled, so this recent pair of leaked images are offering the closest look of the device we’ve seen thus far.
TechTastic has published images it claims are actual photos of the S4 Zoom, seen here, which depict a thick device with an extremely large lens protruding off the back of the device. The S4 Zoom will reportedly feature a 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom and image stabilization, making the camera the obvious selling point of the device, but clearly at the expense of a svelte build.
The S4 Zoom is also rumored to have a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, and will run Android Jelly Bean (4.2.2). The S4 variant could be announced as early as next week, during Samsung’s press conference in London on June 20, at which point further details about the device may be provided.
