iE has been working hard at their MONSTA game and it shows. Released a few weeks ago, they have addressed numerous bugs to make the gameplay even better. MONSTA offers turn-based strategy with a monster hunting twist.

MONSTA Features –

– 50 levels of ultimate fun
– 10 different enviroments
– 13 monsters whose acting and AI differs
– 3 types of weapon for Joe
– Magnificent graphics, almost 900 frames of hi quality pixel graphics
– Separate PRC files for color (8 bits) and monochrome (4 bits) screens
– Autosave position
– Save/load game
– Adjustable movement speed of both Joe and monsters
– Controlling using hardware button or stylus
– Configurable controls
– D-Pad support
– Censored mode
– PalmOS 5 ready

They have a free demo that has four playable boards and the full game is $15. All you need is Palm OS 3.5, but they do support Palm OS 5 as well. You may select color or greyscale, but they do not currently have a high res version, although the FAQ states that if requested enough, they’ll do one.
