Pumatech has just released Intellisync 5.3 and Enterprise Intellisync 5.3, desktop software applications that synchronize data with handheld devices.

New features include support for Windows Mobile 2003 handhelds, Microsoft Outlook 2003, and Lotus Notes 6.5, as well as enhanced support for users of Novell GroupWise 6.5. GroupWise support includes the ability to sync email, alarms, and checklists to handheld devices, as well as synchronization of GroupWise 6.5 Memo data to Palm OS handhelds.

Intellisync software provides two-way, desktop-based synchronization between PCs and Palm OS, Pocket PC, or Windows CE devices. It automatically synchronizes email, calendar, contacts, and tasks with such PIM (personal information management) and groupware applications as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Lotus Notes and Organizer, Novell GroupWise and ACT!.

Intellisync 5.3 is now available for $79.95 from the Pumatech web site. Current users can upgrade to the new version for $34.95, and customers who purchased the application on or after October 1 are eligible for a free upgrade to the new version.

The Enterprise version adds an Administrator Console to simplify configuration, deployment, and support of Intellisync software to corporate users, and the upgrade is available free of charge to current Pumatech maintenance customers.
