iOS LogoRecent reports have suggested that Apple’s release of the iOS 7 mobile operating system may be delayed. But now, most reports are indicating that the update will launch as scheduled.

Apple is expected to show off the new mobile operating design during the company’s keynote at WWDC 2013 on June 10, and then release the software to developers around September. Earlier reports indicated the launch may be delayed, but now AllThingsD is reporting that Apple has pulled engineers off its OS X projects to help get iOS 7 out in time.

The software update is expected to include a major redesign, which will see the user interface Apple lovers have come to know so well drastically change. A flatter, more modern design is reportedly in the pipeline.

The release of iOS 7 is expected to coincide with the release of Apple’s next iPhone, the iPhone 5S.
