iPhone 4S Debuts at Five U.S. Regional Carriers

The iPhone 4S has been released by five regional carriers in the U.S., bringing Apple’s latest smartphone to residents in rural areas of the country.

iPhone 4SThe 4S debuted this week for Alaska Communications, Appalachian Wireless, GCL, Cellcom, and nTelos. Customers who purchase this device will actually pay less than those who bought it from Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T — it will cost $150 for the 16GB model, $250 for the 32GB version, and $350 for the 64GB one.

Those looking to pick up the older iPhone 4 through one of these regional carriers will only have to pay $50 for the 8GB model, half the price charged by larger carriers.
