Apple may have accidentally revealed plans to release a version of its iWork suite of Office software for the iPhone.

Apple iWork for iPhoneVersions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote were released for the Apple iPad this spring, and Apple apparently intends to create ones for its smartphone, too.

These have not been officially announced, but a screenshot on Apple’s website for the newly-announced iPhone 4 showed the email app opening an attachment in Keynote. This image has since been removed from the site.

More about iWork
The iWork collection of apps has the standard word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software, and these are designed to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The iPad versions sell for $10 each, and currently are still lacking in features, especially when it comes to full compatibility with their Microsoft equivalents.

There are already other Office suites for the iPhone, such as DataViz Documents To Go and Quickoffice.
