Sprint has introduced a version of its streaming TV service that works on the iPhone. This includes some free channels like Disney and ESPN Mobile, as well as subscriptions that bring a wider selection.

The other options available for free include: NBC, ABC Mobile, CBS, and The Weather Channel. There is a range of “live” channels and on-demand ones.

For $10 a month, those who want more can get Fox News, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and ABC Family. There is also a Spanish-language group for $8 a month, or a kid-oriented one for $5. These are just a few examples from out of 40 options.

The Sprint TV app is free and it can be downloaded now from the iTunes App Store. It runs on Apple’s smartphones and tablets and requires the user to be signed up for an unlimited data plan.
